Most San Diego kids never get the chance to try.

Snow sports in Southern California usually start with a three-hour drive, a rental counter, and a few hundred dollars — before anyone finds out whether your kid even likes it. So most families never start.

Revolution Snowsports changed the first step. Their dry slope reproduces the real movements and technique used on snow, ten minutes from home instead of three hours away. On December 11 we’re opening it up so your kid can try it, and so you can see what a full season on the mountain actually looks like.

No pressure, no sales pitch. Come have a go.

On the night

Turns on the dry slope

We take names at the door and run one at a time, so nobody stands in a line. First-timers welcome — that’s rather the point.

Hot chocolate and giveaways

For the kids, and for you.

Footage from past seasons

What five Saturdays at Mountain High actually looks like, from the bus to the last run.

Gear to look at

Skis, boards, boots, and straight answers about what you do and don’t need to buy.

Ron and Heidi, both there

Ron Baez runs Revolution. Heidi Emery has run Blue Angels for 35 seasons. Ask either of us anything.

Try it first. Then take it to the mountain.

1

Try it first

Book a single session directly with Revolution Snowsports for $120. If your family then enrols in Blue Angels, that $120 comes straight off your season fee — so trying it costs you nothing but the time.

Open to San Diego and North County families. Booked directly with Revolution Snowsports.

Take it to the mountain

The Blue Angels Youth Ski & Snowboard Program is that same progression on real snow: five Saturdays at Mountain High, January to February 2027. Same coach, same crew, every week — so nobody starts over on week two. Ages 7–16, first-timer to advanced. Our 35th season.

Included: round-trip bus from San Diego, lift tickets, PSIA/AASI-trained coaching, lunch and snacks, supervision all day. Equipment rental is not included; discounted rental and season lease options are available.

Admission is a donation

There’s no ticket price. Admission is simply a donation to the Share Winter Foundation, who fund gear, coaching, lift tickets and the ride to the mountain for young people across the country who’d never otherwise get there. It’s the same problem we’re trying to solve here, at a national scale.

Give whatever feels right — before the night at the link below, or at the door.
